His life’s journey took him and his wife, Janie Bleckley Livengood, to Texas, Natchez, MS, and back home to Winston-Salem where he partnered with Strader’s Pizza and later BreakTime Billiards and Sports Bar. from Appalachian State University, and his Ph.D. He grew up in Winston-Salem, graduated from North Forsyth HS, received his B.S. He was born September 25, 1948, to Joe and Mary Livengood who preceded him in death. Joseph Michael "Mike" Livengood passed away on January 12, 2022. A private family burial will be held prior to his service. In the spirit of Mike’s love of sports, we ask that you consider wearing your favorite team polo to his Celebration of Life.
